What are the different trims available on the Dodge Charger?

The 2019 Dodge Charger is manufactured with five different trim levels: SXT, GT, R/T, Scat Pack, and the SRT Hellcat. The base model SXT has a 7-inch touchscreen with Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a six-speaker sound system. Other standard features include keyless entry and ignition, rear parking sensors, 17-inch alloy wheels, and 60/40-split folding back seat. The all-wheel-drive version of the SXT gets some upgraded features included heated mirrors, auto-dimming rearview mirror, 19-inch wheels, an 8.4-inch touchscreen display, and an upgraded sound system. Building upon the AWD drive SXT is the RWD GT that features performance suspension, race-bred chassis upgrades, performance hood, sculpted side sills, spoilers, and 20-inch Satin Carbon and Black Noise wheel options. Next up, is the Charger R/T with enhanced steering, steering wheel with paddle shifters, and houndstooth cloth bolstered performance seats. On the Scat Pack, you’ll find launch assist, line lock, and the new performance grille with dual inlets on the SRT Hellcat. Available options for the Scat Pack include Bilstein three-mode adaptive damping suspension, a satin black painted hood, and dual carbon stripes. Finally, the SRT Hellcat builds upon the Scat Pack and adds After-Run Chiller and Torque Reserve. After-Run Chiller keeps cooling the supercharger-charge air cooler when the engine is shut off. Torque Reserve produces a reserve of torque that is delivered when accelerating from a standstill. Available options on the SRT Hellcat include Brass Monkey 20-inch forged wheels and an Alcantara interior package.

Just how powerful is the Charger?

There are four different engine choices in the 2019 Dodge Charger all paired with 8-speed automatic transmission. All models come standard in RWD with an AWD option available on the SXT.The base model SXT comes with a 3.6-liter V6 engine that makes 292 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. How safe is the Dodge Charger?

You can feel safe in the 2019 Dodge Charger whether you’re driving laps around the track, racing at the drag strip, or just cruising around town. All-Speed traction control reduces engine power and applies brake pressure to slipping wheels to help retain traction. Rain break support which squeegees water off the calipers when the windshield wipers are activated for improved stopping power. Feel secure on any hill with hill start assist and backing up with a rearview camera. The Charger features a solid safety frame manufactured with high-strength steel and plenty of roof strength. Welded into the vehicle’s side doors are high-strength steel beams. These beams reinforce the vehicle’s structure to help protect the passengers from a side-impact. Airbags throughout and active front head restraints also help reduce the chance of injury in case of an accident.
